It’s always great to take a break in the middle of wedding season to capture the joys of couples who are expecting an upcoming newborn baby.   Joyce and Kevin have been great friends of mine and I couldn’t have been happier when they asked me to take a few photos of them during Joyce’s last few weeks of her pregnancy.  We went out to a local park in Mountain View near sunset where we captured some beautiful photos of her little baby bump.   I’m sure that they’ll be great new parents and I look forward to meeting their little bundle of joy soon!

Congratulations to Wikki and Glenn!  Here are a few teasers photos from their wedding at the beautiful Oceano Hotel and Spa located at Half Moon Bay.  Their wedding was simply amazing and I loved how we got a chance to go out to the marina for some portraits and of course pictures inside the “boardroom.”  During the reception, they even brought in lion dancers!

Congratulations to Laura and Eusebius!  They couldn’t have picked a better day to celebrate their wedding at the beautiful Cinnabar Hills Golf Club in San Jose with the amazing views and rolling hills.  I have known Laura and Eusebius for a long time now, and I really felt like one of the guests celebrating with them!

Congratulations to Kristen and Carl!  Kristen and Carl had told me that they had a “nature green” theme for their wedding which went perfectly with the luscious background of the park where we started their day.  We captured many fun and romantic moments of them along with the entire wedding party where the weather was amazing and the colors of the trees and grass matched their color scheme completely.  It was definitely a wedding with a fun and fresh wedding style.  The held their ceremony at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in Santa Clara and followed with a reception at the Decathlon Club.

Congratulations to Lauren and Adam!  I had been looking forward to their wedding day to come after we went out for their engagement photos and had a blast.  The had a beautiful ceremony with their friends and family at the Peninsula Bible Church (PBC) in Palo Alto.  We started the day with them both getting ready separately.  Lauren and Adam were probably one of the most relaxed couples I have met prior to the ceremony; but you also could tell that both of them had been waiting for this day to come for a long time.  Their ceremony very personal and really showcased the tight knit community they belong to.

We then went to Stanford University for portraits with the entire bridal party to capture some amazing photos of them and the campus architecture.  They were all smiles during the entire day and I was so honored to be able to be a part of their wedding! Their wedding reception was held at JoyLuck Palace in Cupertino — take a  look at the pictures of the P-A-R-T-Y!

Congratulations to Tiffany and Sasi!  They celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Piedmont Community Church with a beautiful outdoor ceremony and portraits across the street at the gorgeous Piedmont Park.  Their entire wedding was like it was taken out of a Bollywood movie – beautiful, elegant, and a lot of fun.  Of course, with all of the Indian weddings that I have photographed, everyone got on the dance floor to party to end the evening!

One of the reasons I love the Bay Area is the amount of beautiful locations there are to take engagement and wedding photographs!  For Monica and Henry’s engagement photos, this was definitely not an exception as we decided to take photos all around the Bay Area and hit the popular locations such as The Legion of Honor, Palo Alto and the beautiful town of Sausalito.  I just loved how they were both so easy going as we strolled through the streets of Sausalito and just stopped for pictures at locations which caught my eye.  We even took a long break during our engagement session to grab some ice-cream together!

ST MARY’S CATHEDRAL | PARK PRESIDIO | FORT POINT | ST. FRANCIS YACHT CLUB WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | SAN FRANCISCO | CAROLINE + JUAN

I’ve been looking forward to blogging about Caroline and Juan’s wedding for a while now!  Their wedding was full of love and so heartfelt that I got a bit teary eyed when they were exchanging their vows to one another.  Although their ceremony wasn’t until the late afternoon, we started the day early had lots of time to visit many of the popular locations in San Francisco for wedding photos (a photographer’s dream!)

I hadn’t met Juan until the morning of the wedding when I set him up for the ‘first-look’ at St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco.  He was a bit nervous, but once he saw Caroline in her wedding dress for the first time, it was just non-stop laughter, fun, and love.  They were both so comfortable in front of my camera!  We hit popular locations for photos such as Fort Point and Park Presidio before heading to their ceremony and reception at the elegant St. Francis Yacht Club that oversaw the beautiful views of the Golden Gate bridge.

Congratulations again to Caroline and Juan and thanks for letting me be a part of your wedding day!

I just love taking photos of babies and having the privilege of photographing 6 month old twins boys near San Francisco was definitely no exception!  Both baby Tyler and baby Alex were so cute and I just loved the way that they both interacted with each other and with their parents.  They were always full of laughter and smiles and we never saw a single frown on their face throughout our entire photo session!  I look forward to photographing them both again in a few months!

Congratulations to Isabelle and Trevor!  They had a small intimate wedding with their close family and friends at the beautiful Portola Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley.  I just loved Isabelle’s contemporary wedding dress – simply amazing!  You could just feel the love that they had for each other in their laughter and smiles.  And although it was quite dark outside after the ceremony, we still went out to capture some awesome photos of them lit mainly by street-lamps.  It created such a romantic feel to the photos with this type of light!
