I have been looking forward to photographing Lucy and William’s wedding for over a year and after their wedding yesterday, all I can say is “WOW…”, what an AMAZING day they had!

They had their ceremony at the modern Cypress Hotel in Cupertino and we followed up with bridal party portraits at the beautiful Villa Montalvo in Saratoga! Here are just a few teasers photos for now with a full blog post coming soon!

Our family recently went to Oahu, Hawaii and was so honored to attend Loretta and Kevin’s wedding at the beautiful Lanikuhonua resort … “Where heaven meets the earth”. I wasn’t the official photographer and attended as guests, but I still couldn’t resist not taking a few photos of their day since everything was just so beautiful! From the clear blue skies, to the outdoor reception by the beach, and with all the intricate details, Loretta and Kevin’s day couldn’t have been more perfect! We had so much fun that the last picture in this post is of my daughter partying it up on the dance floor!

Kim and Hanson’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous and was held at the beautiful The Ranch Golf Club in San Jose! We started the day with pictures with both of them along with the entire bridal party which were so much fun and then followed with an outdoor ceremony on top of the hills!

One of the last photos of the evening was definitely a favorite of mine – I always try to squeeze in some time with every couple for a few outdoor nighttime shots and what a breathtaking view we had that evening being so high up on the hilltops!

Monica and Nathaniel celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Gilroy. I absolutely loved all the details of their wedding and the beautiful lighting we had outside during our portrait session together. They had a very touching and heartfelt ceremony and one of the best moments of their day was when they made their wedding exit to a line of sparklers held by all their guests! I loved the photo that was captured!

Stanford is such a beautiful campus with endless possibilities for engagement photos and I love it everytime I get an opportunity to shoot there. Amber and Gary booked me over the phone so I met them for the first time during our engagement session. Right from the start, we chatted like old friends and you could tell that they were perfect for each other – super sweet and always full of laughs and smiles. We all had a great time during our session and I loved the photos we captured inside the forest of bamboo trees – it doesn’t even seem like we were still on campus!

Congratulations to you both and I can’t wait to photograph your wedding at the beautiful Crystal Springs Golf Club in May!

What a great Winter we’ve been having in the beautiful city of San Francisco. Grace and Kyle couldn’t have picked a better day to have their engagement photos taken at Baker’s Beach which has one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge. While it can be often foggy and cold even during the summer, on the day they we went out, it was warm, sunny, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! We even all got a bit wet with some fun shots in the water with the waves!

Amy and Joseph got married at The Silicon Valley Capital Club atop the Knight Ridder with amazing 360 degree views of the entire South Bay. Their day started with Amy getting ready at The Fairmont Hotel in San Jose after which we went out for portraits with them both around the downtown San Jose Area. I loved all the details of Amy and Joseph’s wedding especially her amazing dress, timeless red classic shoes, and vintage wedding rings! Their day couldn’t have been more fun filled and one of my favorite photos of the season was the photo that I capture of them with the beautiful city night-lights as a backdrop!

Congratulations to Daphne and Jay! While they technically got married on one of the coolest days of the century (11/11/11), they had most of their wedding day celebrations last Saturday with all their friends and family! They started the day with Jay and his groomsmen performing some traditional Chinese customs in order to “pick up his bride.” It was so much fun and you could tell that Daphne and Jay were surrounded by the best of friends.

They had one of the most fun and large bridal parties I have photographed and and we had such a great time with them during our portraits at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. They ended off their celebration with great food and great times at the All Season Restaurant in Diamond Heights in SF.

Congratulations to Yun-Sheen and Kamyar. They got married at the beautiful St. Francis Yacht Club which has spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay. Yun-Sheen and Kamyar couldn’t have picked a more perfect day – there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and it was super warm. We started the day by going out to the Legion of Honor and Chrissy Fields for wedding portraits and the photos we captured of them both with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background couldn’t have been more beautiful! They were both naturals when we were out taking their portraits and you could tell that they were both deeply in love and how much they cared for one another.

Their ceremony included some Iranian traditions and a beautiful Sofreh Aghd that had so many details that I just couldn’t stop taking photos of. Their reception also included many heartfelt speeches from both sides of the family after which everyone got onto the dance floor and danced the night away!

Bonnie and Frank celebrated their wedding day amongst all their friends and family at the beautiful Stanford Park Hotel in Palo Alto. Their ceremony was so heartfelt and personal as they chose to write their own wedding vows that talked about how they met and fell in love and made everyone teary eyed. And it wasn’t until the ceremony that I found out what huge anime fan they both were!

We went for portraits nearby at Stanford University with their awesome bridal party and then also fit in another short photo session with just both of them at the lake in Foster City around sunset! Their reception was held at ABC restaurant in where everyone got onto the dance floor and partied the night away.

Liz and Dan chose to get married at the beautiful Oceano Hotel and Spa in Half Moon Bay. While I have photographed at the beautiful boutique hotel right alongside the California coastline before, the weather that day couldn’t have been more gorgeous. If you are a frequent visitor to Oceano Hotel or Half Moon Bay, you’ll know what I mean when I say that it can get quite foggy and cold even during the summer season. On Liz and Dan’s wedding day however, the sky was absolutely amazing with beautiful blue skies and warm weather. It was the perfect day for their beach ceremony and outdoor tent reception.

Congratulations to Ivy + Jack! They held their beautiful wedding day ceremony and reception at the beautiful Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Gilroy at the Wedgewood Banquet Center. They started their day filled with traditional Chinese customs and ended it with a surprise performance where Jack played the guitar and sang a love song that he composed for his new wife. It was such a heartfelt day celebrated among all their family and friends.

Grace and Kyle love the city of San Francisco and what a better place for them to take their engagement photos than at Potrero Hill with the beautiful San Francisco city skyline as a backdrop! The views of the city were simply breath-taking! As we walked through Potrero Hill looking for great picture spots, we stumbled across what I thought was another unique San Francisco icon — a modern graffiti wall. The colors of he wall were so cool and I just loved how the photos turned out!

We then went to the Ferry Building in San Francisco near the Embarcadero and got to capture some pictures of them inside one of the antique cable cars! Grace and Kyle were both so comfortable in front of my camera and I can’t wait till their wedding day at the beautiful Thomas Fogarty winery next May!

Kids do grow up too quickly. I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I last photographed Anita, Mark, and their wonderful family. At our previous family session (link), baby A was just learning how to walk but now, he’s super active, talkative, and such a happy toddler! His parents mentioned that his favorite toy is his 2-wheel bike and seeing him ride it with such speed and finesse at such a young age simply amazes me. We all had to run just to catch up to him!

Enjoy the family portraits taken at Cuesta Park in Mountain View and I look forward to taking more photos of them in the future and watching him grow up!
