ALLIED ARTS GUILD ENGAGEMENT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | MENLO PARK | LAURA + EUSEBIUS

I met Laura and Eusebius a few years back at another wedding and we’ve been friends through Facebook. When they reached out to me one day and told me about their engagement and being their photographer I couldn’t have been more happy and excited for them.

We scheduled our engagement session at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park where I had heard about the place as being a “hidden gem.” Since I had never shot there before I went earlier to scout the location and was so surprised to finally see it in person. Eusebius was right when he said that they chose this place “because it looked like many different locations” which it most certainly did. From the Spanish architecture to the lush greenery and even a wooden barn shop in the back, the Allied Arts Guild had so many angles to shoot! We definitely had a great time!

CUESTA PARK FAMILY AND BABY PHOTOGRAPHY | MOUNTAIN VIEW | ANITA + MARK

I was so excited when Anita and Mark invited me to take a family photo session with them and their baby (baby “A”). We spent the morning at Cuesta Park in Mountain View where it was so cute to take pictures of their baby while he was still mastering the art of walking

They have such a loving family and it was great to get to know them more during our shoot. Not only do they live close by, but their baby and our baby daughter (both baby “A”‘s) are similar in age and hopefully will grow up hanging out together. Enjoy the photos!

ARGONAUT HOTEL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | SAN FRANCISCO | SNEAK PEEK | MEEKA + YOUNG

A couple of sneak peek photos from last Saturday’s wedding at The Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco. I just loved the red brick exterior of the hotel! Meeka and Young’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous and was so much fun to say the least! From the “first sight” to everyone partying on the dance floor, they had one of the largest bridal parties to date (10 on each side) and as they say, “the more the merrier!” What a great bunch of friends – you could just feel the love they all had for each other in the speeches to the laughter (and boat race) during the entire day.

This engagement session was particularly special for me. Not only was I taking photos of friends but it’s not everyday that you get the chance to take your younger brother’s engagement photos! I couldn’t be more happy for them. I initially thought it might be awkward to photograph, but at the end, it was a ton of fun!

We started our session with a more formal attire at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco and ended our session at one of their popular hangout spots – the Ferry Building at the Embarcadero. We even had a chance to visit the Blue Bottle Coffee & Co where they visit often and the drinks there are amazing. And if you have seen other pictures of them, you would have seen their famous “lotus pose” – something which I don’t know how they can do so well!

Congrats Kev and Liz and I can’t wait till the wedding!

Both Derek and Vikki both graduated from Stanford University so what better place could they have picked to do their engagement photos! I just loved the chemistry between both of them – great smiles and a lot of fun! Our engagement session went by so quickly that before we knew it, we had to hurry up and get to the foothills of Palo Alto to catch the sunset. The lighting there and scenery was absolutely beautiful!

Congratulations to Cecilia and Wing! They started off their wedding with a few Chinese customary traditions with Cecilia in her beautiful Chinese wedding dress.

We then headed off to the beautiful Crystal Spring Golf Course and Country Club where the outdoor views were absolutely spectacular! Since we had already met during our engagement session, Cecilia and Wing were both very relaxed during our portrait session and we captured a lot of great shots!

Tabitha and Marlo couldn’t have picked a better day to get married! They had already told me that they had bought “Nike’s” for all 7 of their groomsmen to wear, but I was surprised to see customized “MARSNTAB” (a.k.a. “Mar”lo “and” “Tab”itha) Nike’s made especially for them! What a great idea!

We captured some wonderful moments of them at the Corinthian Event Center in San Jose where they had their first dance on the balcony so that everyone would have a great view!

Congratulations again to Tabitha and Marlo. You both make such a beautiful couple and thanks for letting me be a part of your day!

Vy and Rob can really host a party! They hosted an intimate wedding in their parents home in Lodi, CA.

Their outdoor ceremony and reception was held in the backyard where not only did it back onto this beautiful golf course & country club, but had a large lake and vineyard just a few steps away! I loved the purple theme throughout their wedding (loved her shoes!) and the party really got started once the drinks started flowing!
